Our Adoptable Friends

Dolly

Super sweet 6 month old kitten ready for her forever home.

Indy

If you are looking for a cool, laid back cat this is your guy. He’s super friendly and loves his attention. He’s going on 4 years old. He does have a little bit of acne under the chin every now and again, so he will need metal bowls for eating and drinking. But don’t let that stop you from having a big ol’ cat in your lap while watching TV at night.

Carrie *Adopted*

Thelma *Adopted*

Morty *moved to meow lounge*

This guy is very shy and takes a minuet to come out of his shell, but once he does he wants to be with you by your side and loved on. He is going on about 7 years old. He needs a quiet start but he’s going to make someone very happy.

Louise

Super sweet kitten 6 months old. Very lovable, playful and ready for a new home.

Nemo *moved to meow lounge*

This handsome boy is 2 and half years old. He does have some spunk to him, but also very loving (when he wants to be). He is out on our floor with other cats, but he can be an instigator (something with those orange cats…lol), so keep that in mind.

Zoey *Adopted*

Jennifer

Talk about an independent little girl. Jennifer is going on 1 year 8 months old. She does like her cuddles but it’s not for long. She needs to 100% be in an ONLY cat household as she does not like other cats. She’s the cutest girl.

Chloe

If you’re looking for a love bug this is your girl, she’s super sweet and runs to you every time you walk in the room. Chole though, must 100% be the only cat in the household. She’s going on 2 and half years old, still lots of time left to give you cuddles.

Franklin *moved to meow lounge*

This handsome guy is a big black gorgeous man with beautiful eyes. He’s a bit timid when you approach him but once you hold your hand out, he takes all the loves and cuddles he can. He is 1 year 4 months old. He seems to be good around other cats as well. He’s waiting for his forever home.

Smokey

If you are looking for a cool cat, this is your guy! He is a huge beautiful gray boy. He is 1 year 4 months old. He will need time and patience to warm up, once he does, he’s going to make a great cat for someone. He needs to be in an ONLY cat household, as he is dominant towards others. Who’s grabbing this boy up?

Frankie

This cool cat is down to earth and loving life. He gets along with other cats just fine, so a good suiter for a multiple cat household. He’s going on about 2 years old and ready to give you all the cuddles you ask for. He loves to be right by your side. This awesome guy is waiting for you!

Leigh

This guy a chill cat, he doesn’t really let anything bother him. His hobby is sleeping. He is 1 year 6 months old. His markings are adorable! If you’re into laid back cats this is your guy. He does just fine with other cats. He’s waiting for your app.

Blackie

She is the sweetest young man. She loves to be held and loved on. She would do best in an ONLY cat household. She’s just under a year old. Looking for her forever home to get all the cuddles he needs. Who grabbing this gal up?

chandler

This handsome guy is actually an American Curl cat, the tips of his ears kind of have a curl to them, and its the cutest thing. He does good with other cats, but when it comes to humans this cat is 100% independent and likes his space. He is going on 7 years old and cute as can be.

Onyx *Foster to Adopt*

Meet Onyx; He is a big beautiful boy; purebred German Shepherd. He 100% needs a person that is familiar with the breed. He and two others landed 'hard' at the Humane Society, after their owner unfortunately passed away. The other two have been adopted and doing great in their forever homes. Now we need to get this big guy his forever home.

He is around 5 years old. Lived with cats at one point. He did get into a fight with his 'son' while living at his former home. In my opinion he would do best in a single dog household. He needs attention and work; mostly manners, being his age, he is set in his ways, but that does not mean he can’t be taught NEW ways. He sometimes gets over excited will jump up and be mouthy (he is getting alot better about it) as I stated prior, he will need training. Before here I dont think he really knew what a leash was. He will need work on potty training as well. Unsure of being around children, we have no way of knowing. A good confident person will have no problems training him up to be a GREAT dog!

He’s a good listener, and being his breed they are super smart and fast learners. But he NEEDS to be in a home setting in order to achieve those goals. He has such a sweet personality it pains me that he is still sitting at our shelter. With patience and consistency he will be amazing. He needs his forever home.

He loves going outside with his toy while holding it in his mouth; German Shepherds need to have a 'job' to keep their mind sharp, that is his job at the moment...it’s the cutest thing. It’s like his safety blanket.

He will need a firm hand but with training and patience he will make someone a great loving dog. Remember that change does not happen overnight.

Triton

Meet Triton; the biggest 68lb baby you'll ever meet, who loves to jump up and just be held in your arms. He had a hard landing, as he and another came to us from a tragic accident of a home fire and his owner sadly passed. So imagine how confused and scared he is/was. He needs to be in a single dog household (meaning he is the only one).

Triton is going on 4.5 years old, so still a young pup. Lots of love to give. He walks great on a leash, and loves playing fetch. Also LOVES HUGGING! He has unfortunately been in fights in the past with other dogs, so him being the only dog is a MUST. Not sure about cats. If you have children in the home we would need a meet and greet with the whole family to ensure a great fit.

He has the most beautiful brown eyes, and with those adorable brown circles around them, makes them pop even more.

With a little patience, basic training, some potty training (he does well though), and once he gets the confidence he is supposed to have he's going to be a great addition to his forever home. Most importantly kindness!

Don't let his breed (pit bull mix) stop you from coming to meet this handsome guy, he's worth the 10 minutes of filling out an application, and once approved you are able to meet him. He will change your mind in the first ten minutes of meeting him. Poor baby has been in the shelter since Nov. 24' let's get this handsome guy a home

Spike

Spike has jumped through hurtles to be here today; poor guy has had it rough. He is a 9-year-old Pitbull mix. He’s been in multiple fights so will need to be an ONLY dog household. From those fights he has sustained multiple injuries causing him to have a limp in his front right shoulder. With his stay here he seems to have anxiety, not sure if he had these issues before hand or not, he also drools a lot while barking. He will need vet care though out his life, there is no getting around that. As stated, he’s been through a lot. He will most likely have arthritis so plan on medicine for that. He does great while out on a leash, unless he sees another dog. Unsure about children in the household, and cats. He’s super sweet once he’s calmed down and loves his treats. He’s really good boy. He will need a lot of time and patience with his new humans. Remember change does not happen overnight.

Echo *Adopted*

VestA

Vesta is a beautiful older lady that came to us when her owner passed away. She is 7 year old yellow lab(cream colored) and is a absolute delight. She enjoys visiting the Nursing Home and loves everyone she meets. She has a bunny that she lives with and likes to watch over her. Her foster says the Vesta is a very silly girl with a lot of personality and a pleasure to have around. Fill out an application if your looking for a perfect dog!

Precious

5 year old cream colored female lab . Precious and her puppies were surrendered to us when her owner sadly passed away. Precious is truly a sweet dog, she loves giving kisses and has a very wiggly bum when excited. She does great on a leash, and enjoys playing in the snow. She has showed aggression towards other dogs(when she is here in the kennels) and has been grumbly towards certain people she meets. She has been through A LOT in a short amount of time. We are uncertain if she needs to be the only dog, and a home with older children would be preferred. She has been recently fixed and are hoping it will help calm her moodiness. Hopefully Precious can find a home so she can feel secure and safe again.

Rudy

Rudy is a handsome 5 year old yellow lab. He came to us after his owner passed. Rudy is currently being fostered while waiting for his new forever home. Rudy is a velcro dog and loves being with “his” person and is an absolute sweetheart. He is on the shy side, he is scared of loud noises and uncertain of new people and other dogs. He would do best with someone who can be home with him most of the time. He did live with other older dogs(he was used for breeding). He does take interest in chasing cats, this is still in question as they might just be new to him. He has been through a lot of new change, with patience he might become more confident with time. He has also been fixed recently and can help calm male dogs. His foster says he has come a long way since being in a home.
